What is the San José Resilience Corps?

Over the past six months, Resilience Corpsmembers have been learning new skills and developing self-awareness for their future careers. This is their story of achieving dream goals, inspiring others, and making an impact in our community.

The Resilience Corps was created by the office of Mayor Sam Liccardo, the City of San José, and is operated by the San José Conservation Corps. The Resilience Corps seeks to support unemployed and underemployed young adults through living-wage employment and work experience opportunities.

San José has many potential jobs doing critically important work to create a more climate-smart and resilient future for our city, allowing residents to get paychecks into their pockets while hugely benefitting our community at large.
