Vision & Mission
The San Jose Conservation Corps + Charter School (SJCC+CS) is a non-profit organization that provides opportunity youth from the ages of 17 ½ - 27 with a quality high school education and teaches valuable work and life skills that empower them to become responsible, productive,
and caring citizens.

A Comprehensive Approach to
Serving Young Adults
We are an educational safety net for young adults who have been disconnected from mainstream education and job training systems.
Youth are empowered by knowledge, prepared with job skills for future careers, and supported through wrap-around services.
Graduates are self-sufficient and contribute positively to their communities, relying on themselves rather than the network of social systems.
Earn and Learn Model
SJCC+CS employs a multi-faceted program that utilizes a combination of education and job training.
Our on-site charter high school delivers a free, accredited high school curriculum that is designed to meet the unique
needs of our adult learners.
While in school, students have the opportunity to earn while they learn through paid job training and career technical education.

Releasing Untapped Potential
We believe that every person is entitled to have access to the education, job training, and resources that give them a fair shot at fulfilling their potential.
We believe that opportunity youth are indeed resilient and capable of succeeding.
We believe there is an urgent need to support these youth because the pressures of Silicon Valley and today's high costs of living make it more challenging than ever for these young people to thrive.
